"Curated by Sand" is an experimental collective just starting to breathe light.

 

Noor Albar and Sejal Dalvi met on the Curating Contemporary Art masters program at the Royal College of Art in London. ​On a winter evening at Qima Cafe, Noor shared a few thoughts with Sejal about her interest in curating a show at the Hangar, the largest exhibition space at the college. Sejal showed enthusiasm; as the go-getter of the duo, she held Noor accountable and sure enough, they co-curated their first exhibition along with a third helping hand. Towards the end of the experience, Sejal said "if we manage to do five shows together, let's start a collective". Let's say we have not yet curated the five shows, but let's also say, we don't work in a linear manner.
